Morehouse General Hospital is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing Rehabilitation Services team. We operate as a small, close-knit community in a rural hospital setting, where collaboration and patient-centered care are at the heart of our mission.
About the Role
Under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care with a primary focus on outpatient services, while also supporting acute and swing bed patients. Your day will involve treating a wide range of conditions, including orthopedic injuries, joint replacements, CVA, and generalized weakness, with the goal of helping patients achieve their maximum functional potential.
You will work in a dynamic clinical environment where patients are scheduled every 45 minutes, averaging 8–10 patients per day. This role requires flexibility to move between outpatient, acute, and swing bed areas, ensuring seamless care across the hospital. As a key member of the care team, you will collaborate with therapists, physicians, case managers, and techs to drive department improvement initiatives and program development.

Requirements
