About the Role
In this position, you will evaluate, plan, and deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services to diverse patient populations. Your primary mission is to restore function, reduce pain, and improve the quality of life for those you serve. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to develop individualized treatment plans, provide essential patient and family education, and document care in strict accordance with regulatory and Methodist standards.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleEvaluate patients using standardized tests to determine functional limitations and rehabilitation needs
- check_circleDevelop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain
- check_circleProvide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, and use of modalities as appropriate
- check_circleEducate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and preventive care
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- check_circleDocument evaluations, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
- check_circleMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response and goals
- check_circleEnsure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and Methodist Health System standards
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent state license as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- verifiedDoctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program
- verifiedBLS/CPR certification
- verifiedEligibility for board certification in a PT specialty preferred
- verifiedExperience with EMR systems (e.g., Epic) preferred
