As a Rover pet sitter or dog walker, you provide essential care services for pets in your community. This role allows you to operate independently as a pet care provider, managing your own schedule and service rates through the Rover platform. You will communicate directly with pet owners, sending updates and photos to keep them connected with their pets while you care for them.
Day in the Life
Your day may involve a variety of tasks depending on the needs of the pet and the owner. Services include dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding pets, refilling water, cleaning litter boxes, and picking up waste. For overnight pet sitting requests, you provide companionship and care throughout the night. You have the flexibility to set your own rates and manage your availability, allowing you to tailor the role to your lifestyle.
