Rad Law Group, a Professional Law Corporation, is a boutique and well-established law firm seeking a self-motivated Administrative/Legal Assistant to join our team at our San Jose office. This role is ideal for someone with a desire to learn and a genuine interest in law.
Our growing personal injury law firm is looking for a Personal Injury Legal Assistant proficient in English (Spanish is a plus) to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in clients’ lives by helping them navigate all stages of their case—from intake to settlement and trial. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and capable of managing a busy caseload with professionalism, empathy, and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial
- check_circleDraft and prepare legal documents including letters and complaints
- check_circleGather and analyze client information such as medical records and bills
- check_circleCommunicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and healthcare providers
- check_circleNegotiate medical bills and insurance claims for fair settlements
- check_circleMaintain accurate data in case management software
- check_circleAssist attorneys in preparing settlement disclosures and managing settlements
- check_circlePerform administrative tasks such as calendaring and organizing case files
- check_circleCoordinate Recorded statements, IMEs, and examinations under oath
Requirements
- verified3-5 years experience in personal injury law or legal administration
- verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MyCase
- verifiedAbility to quickly learn new legal or case management software
- verifiedExcellent written and verbal communication skills
- verifiedSpanish language skills (plus)
