About the Opportunity

Sterling Medical is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team in Italy. This full-time, 40-hour per week role offers excellent compensation and is specifically designed to support military spouses and dependents, who are strongly encouraged to apply.

About the Role

In this position, you will deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to patients ranging from birth to three years of age, focusing on those with developmental delays and disabilities. The role involves administering skilled treatments, conducting evaluations, and initiating appropriate interventions under the direction of licensed professionals. You will also play a key educational role by instructing physical therapy students in theory, treatment techniques, and practice.

A significant portion of your work will involve the administration, scoring, and report writing for specialized assessment tools, including the Bayley Infant and Toddler Scales, Developmental Assessment of Young Children, Battelle Developmental Inventory, and others utilized by US early intervention programs. Additionally, you will assist in developing physical therapy research programs and help determine diagnoses and treatment plans to ensure high-quality care for referred patients.
