Hurley Medical Center and Children's Hospital, located in Flint, Michigan, are affiliated with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, the University of Michigan, and other top Midwest universities. We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Pediatric Neurologist to join the faculty team. This academic position focuses on outpatient and consultative inpatient care for neurology patients, including infants, children, and adolescents. The role involves treating complex conditions such as cerebral palsy, epilepsy, ADHD, autistic spectrum disorders, neuromuscular disease, migraines, traumatic brain injury, brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, spina bifida, chiari malformation, ataxia, and meningitis.
As a faculty member, you will teach resident physicians and medical students while participating actively in the academic community. The position offers opportunities for research and leadership roles within a multispecialty clinic. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills, along with a willingness to work with an urban population. The team utilizes award-winning, physician-friendly EMR technology.
