The Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin and Dell Children's Medical Center (DCMC) is seeking a full-time pediatric cardiologist with specialization in interventional cardiology to support our rapidly growing team within the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease (TCPCHD). This collaboration between UT Health Austin and Dell Children's Medical Center was recently ranked No. 10 in the nation for Pediatric Cardiology and Heart Surgery in the 2025-26 U.S. News & World Report Best Children's Hospitals rankings.
We are recruiting for an experienced mid-career or senior level interventional pediatric cardiologist with an opportunity for a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care, leadership, and innovation alongside our team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers. Although patient care is our primary focus, education and research are also encouraged and supported with access to dedicated research professionals including a statistician, research manager, and research coordinators.
Our practice is located in central Austin, providing inpatient and outpatient support for all of central Texas and beyond. The position encompasses responsibilities in patient care, administration, program development, safety, quality, and access for services. This role will work with the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and the leadership of the TCPCHD to execute on yearly personal and programmatic goals focused on the fundamentals of extraordinary care: safety, quality, patient experiences, access, and stewardship.
