We are hiring a Part-time Enterprise Infrastructure Services Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Fort Meade, Maryland. In this role, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a part-time position requiring 940 hours of support per year, with work performed directly at the customer site.
As an ISSO, you will be a key partner in maintaining the operational security posture of critical information systems. Your day-to-day work involves coordinating and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies. You will evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet requirements for processing classified information and perform vulnerability and risk assessment analyses to support certification and accreditation efforts. Additionally, you will prepare and review essential documentation, including System Security Plans (SSP), Risk Assessment Reports, and Certification and Accreditation packages, ensuring full compliance with customer Information System Certification and Accreditation Process (NISCAP) and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).

Experience with H/W inventory and change log updates, System personnel & change log updates for Security Relevant Changes (SRC), STE/STN Activities, and System Owner updates. XACTA experience including S/W inventory, System records updates, Notice review, SSP Reviews/Reauthorization/Publish, Contingency planning/testing, Scan Review, and POA&M reviews. Familiarity with GateKeeper, CASPORT, and SEAR.
Skills: Niscap, Diacap, SSP, Risk Assessment, Vulnerability Assessment, Encryption, Communication Protocols, Hardware/software Security, Xacta, Gatekeeper.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (experience substitution allowed).
