About the Role
As a Part-Time Driver, you will be the face of PODS at customer locations, responsible for the safe delivery and pickup of storage containers. This role is essential to ensuring a seamless experience for our customers, combining operational precision with excellent interpersonal rapport. You will operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism, handling containers with care while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Your day involves coordinating rental paperwork and payments directly with customers, verifying deliveries via handheld computers, and performing necessary maintenance on both the vehicle and containers. Whether you are performing field repairs, coordinating with the Driver Lead on customer inquiries, or providing backup support for storage center functions, your work ensures the business needs are met efficiently and safely.
