The E.D. Paramedic serves as a professional caregiver dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care within the Emergency Department at Southwest General Health Center. This role operates under the guidance of the Medical Support Team Physician and adheres strictly to the Ohio Revised Code and the licensure standards of the State of Ohio Paramedic Certification.
In this position, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting with medical interventions, and managing patient transport. A key aspect of the role involves monitoring the function of critical medical equipment and ensuring accurate documentation on all appropriate forms. The E.D. Paramedic must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that is appropriate for patients across all age groups, considering their specific chronological age, developmental stage, and psycho-social maturity.
