About the Role
We are seeking an intermodal and drayage driver based at the New Jersey port to join our team for the long haul. This position offers constant freight with a schedule that is mainly Monday through Friday. A key benefit of this role is the lack of forced dispatch, allowing drivers flexibility in their operations.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive gross weekly average pay ranging from $2,500 to $6,000, paid weekly. Drivers can expect to haul 60% of the load with an average of 500 to 2,000 miles per week. To support new team members, we provide a $500 sign-on bonus and a lease purchase program for those interested in ownership. Additionally, we offer paid orientation where drivers are provided their own room and lunch, though travel expenses and accommodation are not covered.
Home Time
Drivers can expect to be home every weekend.
Hiring Process
We are an equal opportunity employer. Interested candidates must possess a Class A license without specific restrictions (such as No Manual, Air Brakes, Night Driving, No Semi Trailer, or Intrastate Only) and have at least four months of tractor-trailer experience. Equipment requirements include a truck no older than 15 years, with no overdimensional trucks allowed.
