Position Overview

Geeks on Site is seeking experienced Outdoor TV Mounting Technicians to perform high-quality installations at residential and commercial locations across the United States. This role is ideal for reliable, self-managed technicians who take pride in precise, well-executed work. As an independent contractor, you will assess each site, securely mount TVs on various outdoor surfaces, and ensure all wiring is concealed for a clean, professional finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Mounting: Mount outdoor and weatherproof TVs on diverse surfaces, including concrete, brick, stucco, siding, and drywall.

• Precision Drilling: Drill with accuracy to ensure safe, secure installations without damaging client property.

• Site Assessment: Evaluate mounting surfaces to identify studs, determine appropriate anchor placement, and select correct bracket positioning.

• Cable Management: Provide professional cable concealment solutions, such as in-wall routing, surface-mounted covers, and discreet external wiring management.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure the final setup is perfectly aligned, level, and clean.

• Troubleshooting: Address basic audio/video or connection issues as needed.

• Site Cleanup: Thoroughly clean the workspace before departing.

• Collaboration: Utilize a second technician for larger or heavy-duty installations when necessary.

• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service and confirm client satisfaction before closing the job.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience with outdoor TV mounting is preferred; a strong background in residential mounting is also acceptable.

• Tool Proficiency: Must be proficient with essential mounting tools and hardware, including drills, stud finders, levels, anchors, ladders, and mounting brackets.

• Equipment: You must own and bring your own tools to every job.

• Physical Capability: Ability to safely drill into concrete, brick, and stucco, and physically lift and mount TVs weighing up to 100 lbs (helpers may be brought if needed).

• Transportation: Possess a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.

• Work Style: Strong attention to detail, a clean work style, and the ability to work independently while managing your own schedule.

• Communication: Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Structure: Flat rate starting at $100 per installation. Rates may be adjusted if a helper is involved.

• Mileage Reimbursement: Provided for travel over 20 miles one way.
