We are seeking dedicated, energetic individuals with a passion for working with young children to join our team as on-call substitute teachers. This role is designed for those who are flexible, organized, and comfortable in a supportive capacity, receiving direction from lead teachers while maintaining a joyful approach to their work.
In the Early Childhood Department, you will assist by preparing the classroom environment, supervising children during lunch, recess, and physical fitness, sanitizing materials, monitoring nappers, leading songs or games, and managing arrivals and dismissals. You will also step in as the responsible adult when the lead teacher is not present.
In the Elementary Department, your duties include preparing the classroom, supervising students during lunch, recess, and physical fitness, sanitizing materials, supporting student research and work completion, reviewing assignments, managing arrivals and dismissals, and providing after-school care. Like in Early Childhood, you will be prepared to assume the role of the responsible adult in the absence of the lead teacher.
