Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is the nation's leading outpatient practice, serving the New York Tri-State Area with over 70 clinics and more than 25 years of experience. We provide unprecedented patient access to physical and occupational therapy through a robust list of services covered by most major insurances. Our commitment to excellence has been recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association and WebPT, which have named us the nation's top physical therapy practice twice. We have also received the Columbia Award for Leadership in Clinical Education and served as official therapists to Olympic teams and Broadway shows. Our expertise has been featured in major media outlets including The New York Times, CBS News, Good Morning America, and The Today Show.
We are excited to welcome motivated Occupational and Physical Therapists who are passionate about pursuing a career in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. This role is ideal for therapists who have developed a solid foundation in hand therapy during their clinical education and are eager to build on that experience with mentorship, advanced training, and hands-on practice.
Therapists will set clear expectations for patients' clinical progress while providing evidence-based, patient-centered care for individuals with conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will execute a high standard of clinical excellence while maintaining 5-star customer service, understanding that a passion for your craft turns into real impact when you deliver on your promises. Spear strives to foster a true community environment for both patients and team members; therefore, a collaborative spirit is valued to ensure everyone receives the care and support they need.
Whether you are a seasoned clinician or a new graduate, you will find your niche with us. We value empathy and a dedication to clinical excellence above all else. We look for both entrepreneurial big-thinkers and those dedicated to the day-to-day of treatment, understanding that being clear is kind and that actions express priorities. We are committed to rehabilitating not just patients' injuries, but their confidence and vitality as well.
Our team resonates with our SPEAR-IT values: Service, Passion, Empathy, Accountability, Respect, Impact, and Teamwork. We do not work in silos; we are proactive, collaborative, and team-oriented. We celebrate wins and learn from losses with our patients, colleagues, and communities. We believe that exceptional patient service can only be achieved when our team is well cared for, striving to create an environment that bolsters career growth while providing the flexibility and time necessary to live a balanced life.
