About the Team
The Midlife Health Center (MLHC) at UPMC Magee Women's Hospital is one of the only programs of its kind in the region. The center operates as a consult-driven, team-based care model, currently supported by three physicians, one nurse practitioner, and an experienced midlife support team. The MLHC serves as a critical hub for comprehensive women's health, focusing on the unique needs of patients navigating midlife transitions.
UPMC Magee-Women's Hospital is a world-class center for women's health and an innovative leader in the delivery of care and research. Recognized as a National Center of Excellence in Women's Health by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the hospital delivers nearly 10,000 births annually, accounting for 45 percent of all births in Allegheny County. Its neonatal intensive care unit is the largest in Pennsylvania, treating over 1,500 critically ill infants each year. The hospital also serves as the primary teaching facility for obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, and neonatology for the University of Pittsburgh.
