The Midlife Health Center (MLHC) at UPMC Magee Women's Hospital is one of the only programs of its kind in the region. The center operates as a consult-driven, team-based care model, currently supported by three physicians, one nurse practitioner, and an experienced midlife support team. As a National Center of Excellence in Women's Health recognized by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Magee-Women's Hospital serves as a world-class leader in women's health care, research, and the delivery of comprehensive medical-surgical care. The hospital is also the teaching facility for obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, and neonatology for the University of Pittsburgh.

The Midlife Health Center physician will have the opportunity to hold a leadership role, potentially serving as Division Director, and engage in clinical academic appointments, research, and teaching.
This position invites a faculty physician Gynecologist to join the Midlife Health Center as an integral member of the team. The role is designed for a physician who is board certified or eligible in Ob/Gyn, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine and is committed to advancing midlife health care. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative environment utilizing EPIC EMR for outpatient care and Cerner for inpatient services. While the primary focus is on midlife health, there is the flexibility to practice ObGyn if desired. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a specialized program that addresses the complex needs of women during midlife.
