About the Role
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Stamford Hospital is seeking a dedicated physician to serve as Director of our Outpatient OB/GYN Clinic. This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to shape the clinical, educational, and programmatic direction of our resident-based outpatient practice while building a specialty-focused gynecology career within a dynamic, university-affiliated community hospital.
In this position, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight of the OB-GYN resident outpatient clinic, supervising and mentoring residents in patient care, professional development, and evidence-based practice. The role requires an active commitment to resident education and training, coordinating multidisciplinary care with subspecialty providers in Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Family Planning.
The schedule includes two days in the outpatient clinic and two days at the hospital, consisting of 12-hour daytime hospitalist shifts. This structure ensures a balanced integration of clinical service, academic mentorship, and surgical practice growth supported by access to subspecialty collaboration and hospital resources.
