About the Role

This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.

OBHG's program is designed to enhance patient access, increase birthing volume, attract new physicians, and improve collaboration with local clinics. Our physicians will work alongside the hospital's residents in a supportive environment.

About the Locations

King's Daughters Medical Center (Ashland, KY) Opened in 1917, this facility is a proud recipient of the Women's Choice Award for Overall Patient Experience and the Best-in-Class Seal of Honor. The hospital houses one of only four Level III NICUs in the state, supported by specially trained nurses and two full-time neonatologists providing round-the-clock care.

Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center (Prestonsburg, KY) Delivering nearly 500 babies and performing almost 400 GYN surgeries annually, this facility features 24/7 anesthesia, a Level 2 NICU, and advanced surgical resources including a robot for GYN procedures. The clinic is conveniently located across the street from the hospital, which includes 6 LDRs and 2 dedicated cesarean section ORs.

CHI Saint Joseph Health - Flaget Memorial Hospital As a sister facility to CHI St. Joseph in Lexington, Flaget Memorial Hospital offers a home-like environment with all-inclusive LDRP suites, allowing families to experience labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum in one private room. The new program will allow OBHG to impact an additional 225 annual deliveries.

Baptist Health Paducah (BHP) Priding itself on compassionate care throughout the entire spectrum of birth, BHP features a trusted care team including OB/GYNs, labor and delivery nurses, midwives, and a NICU team. The facility offers spacious rooms and various pain management options, currently seeing 1,056 annual deliveries.

The Medical Center at Bowling Green This location sees approximately 2,800 annual deliveries and 3,200 annual unscheduled outpatient visits.

Owensboro Health Regional Hospital Built in 2013, this 477-bed hospital is home to the region's largest Level III NICU, private labor and delivery rooms, three Caesarian section surgical suites, and family-friendly mother-baby suites.

St. Joseph East Hospital A 217-bed community facility dedicated to the health of women in central and eastern Kentucky, this Women's Hospital features a patient- and family-centric design with lounge, play, and education areas. It includes 12 labor and delivery rooms, three dedicated Cesarean section rooms, and a 16-bay Level II NICU.
