Obstetrix of California at San Jose is seeking an additional experienced BC/BE OB Hospitalist to join a Maternal-F Medicine led practice at Good Samaritan Hospital. This role operates within a robust support system, including a Level III NICU, 24-hour dedicated Anesthesiologist to Labor & Delivery, a 24-hour Neonatologist, and a 24-hour Pediatric Hospitalist.

About the Role

This position offers a unique blend of clinical autonomy and collaborative care in the heart of Silicon Valley. You will manage a schedule of five to six 24-hour shifts per four-week cycle, performing an average of 0-3 deliveries and assisting on 1-2 C-sections. Your responsibilities will include triage for unassigned and private patients, receiving MFM transports (5-6 per month), rounding on postpartum inpatients, and sharing antepartum rounds with MFM specialists. Additionally, you will handle GYN ER evaluations for unassigned patients, while GYN surgery is managed by a separate on-call physician.
