As a Nursing Professional Development Specialist, you will serve as a vital bridge between clinical expertise and educational strategy. This role exists to design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing education programs, ensuring that our frontline staff and nursing leaders are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills. You will work collaboratively with nursing leadership to enhance evidence-based practice, promote professional development, and drive continuous improvement in patient care outcomes.
Your day-to-day impact involves assessing learning needs across clinical areas and facilitating diverse educational modalities, from classroom instruction and simulation labs to bedside teaching. You will mentor preceptors and emerging leaders, support the implementation of new clinical practices and technologies, and utilize data to identify and close knowledge gaps. By contributing to shared governance and policy development, you will help shape the future of our professional practice standards.
