Providence Heart Institute is seeking a full or part-time non-invasive Cardiologist to join our practice on the Northern Oregon coast. This position offers a unique blend of community-focused care and connection to a world-class health system. You will manage a busy outpatient clinic and provide consultative services for hospitalized patients at Providence Seaside Hospital, a 25-bed facility with an active medical staff of over 160 providers.
You will join an established team that includes a General Cardiologist, a physician assistant, a nurse practitioner, and experienced office staff. The role involves collaborating closely with a large group of Cardiologists, Cardiac and Vascular Surgeons based in Portland, as well as multi-specialty providers and hospitalists in Seaside. A full complement of non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing is available on-site, and the practice serves a large catchment area stretching from Olympia, WA, down to Lincoln City, OR. New graduates are welcome to apply for this growing opportunity, which features a new state-of-the-art facility in Warrenton, OR, and access to the Renown Basecamp Cardiac Prevention Center and Cardiac Rehab.
The Providence Heart Institute is an integrated cardiovascular service line with more than 80 specialists serving hospital and clinic locations throughout Oregon and southwest Washington. As a leader in new therapies, the institute consistently receives national recognition, including the American Heart Association's "Get With The Guidelines" designation for coronary artery disease care.
Located at the end of the Lewis and Clark trail, Seaside is a small coastal community of 6,000 residents known for its magnificent seascapes, lush forests, and sunny, moderate summer climate. It was named one of the "Most Charming Small Towns To Visit in 2023" for good reason: it is a great place to live and raise a family. Recreational opportunities abound, including beachcombing, whale watching, surfing, hunting, fishing, hiking, and a variety of festivals. While enjoying this natural beauty, you remain connected to the city, with Portland just a 90-minute drive away for big-city shopping, dining, arts, and entertainment.
