Mercy Medical Group (MMG) is an award-winning hospitalist program serving five major hospitals in the Sacramento area. With a team of more than 100 providers, we are dedicated to fostering a collegial and supportive environment where patient safety and quality care are paramount.
We are seeking a Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our multi-specialty group as a Nocturnist. This role is designed to support hospitalist physicians in delivering excellent care to hospitalized patients during the night. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
Your primary focus will be providing cross-coverage care for patients. Additionally, you may admit patients to the general medical floor from the emergency department or as transfers from other facilities, and provide hospital medicine consultations for specialists. This position requires a highly skilled and compassionate individual dedicated to managing acute changes in patient conditions and maintaining accurate, timely documentation.
