HCA Healthcare, the parent organization, has been named one of the World's Most Ethical Companies® by the Ethisphere Institute more than ten times. Guided by the philosophy of Dr. Thomas Frist, Sr., "Bricks and mortar do not make a hospital. People do," the organization is dedicated to the growth and development of its colleagues.
The HCA Nurse Residency Program at Mission Hospital is a year-long initiative designed to shepherd new graduates through the transition from student nurse to registered nurse. This paid program provides a supportive community of nurse educators, experienced nurses, and fellow residents to foster learning, clinical application, and professional socialization.
Residents will engage in a formalized series of learning experiences, including advanced clinical training in a specialty area, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship training, and hands-on simulations. The program emphasizes mentoring from experienced nurse leaders and collaboration on evidence-based practice projects. The goal is to equip you with the tools necessary to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage."
We promptly review all applications from candidates looking to unlock their potential with a leading healthcare provider. If you are seeking an opportunity that provides satisfaction and personal growth, we encourage you to apply today.
