Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDeliver safe, evidence-based nursing care under RN preceptor guidance
- check_circleAssess, monitor, and document patient status using EMR systems
- check_circleAdminister medications and treatments per provider orders and protocols
- check_circleCollaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
- check_circleEducate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans
- check_circleAdhere to infection prevention, safety, and quality standards
- check_circleParticipate in unit-based training, simulations, and competency checks
- check_circleEscalate changes in patient condition promptly to providers
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN license or eligibility to obtain before start date
- verifiedGraduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- verifiedBLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) required
- verifiedACLS preferred or obtained within defined timeframe
Nice to Have
ACLS certification (preferred or obtained within defined timeframe). Participation in a nurse residency program (strongly preferred).
