About the Role
The HCA Nurse Residency Program is a year-long initiative designed to shepherd new graduates from student nurses to registered nurses. This program provides a supportive community of nurse educators, experienced nurses, and fellow residents to foster learning, clinical application, and professional socialization.
As a Nurse Resident, you will transition from the classroom to the hospital environment through advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, and preceptorship. You will work collaboratively on evidence-based practice projects while receiving mentoring from experienced nurse leaders. Your day-to-day will involve coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, serving as an advocate for patients and families, and utilizing established nursing models to assess, perform, teach, and manage patient needs.

Requirements
- verifiedAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- verifiedRegistered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- verifiedBasic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- verifiedAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
