About the Team
Established in 1974, Henrico Doctors' Hospital is a 340-bed community hospital operated by HCA Healthcare. Our organization consists of three community campuses—Henrico, Parham, and Retreat Doctors' Hospitals—along with the free-standing Hanover Emergency Center. We offer specialized services in cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, oncology, physical therapy, women's services, and a 24/7 emergency department.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform procedures, monitoring, and functions as ordered by medical providers
- check_circleRespond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate and resolve patient needs
- check_circleAssess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting changes in status
- check_circleDocument the administration of care in patient medical records in a timely and thorough manner
- check_circleCollaborate with medical providers and care team members to deliver patient-centered care
- check_circleAdminister prescribed medications and monitor patients for therapeutic responses
- check_circleTeach patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, and medications
Requirements
- verifiedAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- verifiedRegistered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- verifiedBasic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- verifiedAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
