About the Role

Vanderbilt University Medical Center's Department of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology seeks a board-certified Neuropathologist to provide expert autopsy and surgical services. You will collaborate with leading researchers in neurodegenerative diseases and serve a growing Neurosurgical service, handling over 1,000 biopsy specimens and 100 brain autopsy cases annually.

Ideal applicants will have experience or an interest in dementia and neurodegenerative disorders, with the opportunity to read eye biopsies. Subspecialty fellowship training in Neuropathology is preferred, though candidates with General Surgical Pathology training and a track record in Neuropathology will also be considered.
