About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Locum Neonatologist to provide critical care coverage near Daisytown, PA, starting immediately. This role is designed to support a Level 1 Trauma facility with an inpatient practice setting, ensuring continuous, high-quality care for neonatal patients during a specific period in late December.
Role Context
The position requires a physician experienced in Level III NICU environments. You will work in-house shifts of either 12 or 24 hours, providing direct patient care without the need for additional call coverage outside of your scheduled shifts. The team utilizes the Epic EMR system, and successful candidates must hold active BLS and NRP certifications.
Compensation & Support
This assignment offers a competitive hourly rate along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your travel and practice needs. Compensation includes housing, car rental, gas, mileage (for driving your own vehicle), parking, tolls, and baggage fees. Additionally, A++ rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage is included. Weeknight call premiums and weekend call premiums (calculated as 6 regular hours per day when called in) are also available.
