About the Opportunity
We are seeking a talented MRI Technologist for an immediate 3+ month contract position with long-term potential. This role is based onsite in Atlanta, GA, within a leading healthcare organization. The position offers a unique opportunity to join a busy department where confidence and independence in handling a high-volume workload are essential.
About the Role
In this role, you will perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders, providing critical imaging support for inpatient cases in a hospital setting. Your day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, comfort, and proper screening for all MRI procedures. You will operate MRI equipment while maintaining strict image quality standards and accurately documenting procedures using the Cerner EMR system.
Collaboration is key; you will work closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional care. This position requires a strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, specifically within acute care settings. The schedule involves a weekend night shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, consisting of three 12-hour shifts.
