About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Mortgage Loan Originator to join our Financial Services Branch. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for homebuyers, guiding them through the financing journey from initial inquiry to funding. Your mission is to promote our mortgage products, develop business within builder communities, and manage client relationships with professionalism and care.
You will spend your day reviewing new leads, conducting interviews to understand borrower goals, and advising clients on the loan programs that best suit their needs. This position requires active pipeline management to ensure a smooth process for all parties involved. You will also represent the company at sales meetings, builder communities, and grand opening functions, often requiring weekend coverage and occasional overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleInterview mortgage applicants to understand goals and educate them on financing options
- check_circleReview new leads daily and contact them to earn their business
- check_circleReview borrower documentation for accuracy and address any discrepancies
- check_circleMake presentations on loan products to sales staff and in builder communities
- check_circleDevelop sales leads for mortgages in builder communities and real estate offices
- check_circleMaintain reports and notes within origination software and customer relationship management systems
- check_circleManage the loan pipeline from application to funding to ensure smooth processing
- check_circleProvide necessary disclosures to loan applicants in compliance with regulations
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree from four-year college or university
- verifiedOne to two years of related experience
- verifiedValid driver's license
- verifiedMust have a vehicle
- verifiedLicensed Mortgage Loan Originator as required by state
- verifiedProficiency with MS Office

Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to accurately and efficiently process and record a large volume of data. Ability to act as a team player and be willing to accept constructive criticism. Bilingual.
