This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. Our team of more than 7,000 professionals worldwide delivers all-domain expertise and advanced technologies in service of mission partners across the globe. Mission Technologies is leading the next evolution of national defense—the data evolution—by accelerating a breadth of national security solutions for government and commercial customers. We design, develop, integrate, and manage the sensors, systems, and assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making for the Department of Defense, combatant commands, and the intelligence community.
HII Mission Technologies is seeking a qualified candidate to join our esteemed ADO team in Colorado Springs, CO, to support our valued NORAD/NORTHCOM customer. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in various modeling and simulation (M&S) tools utilized across the Department of Defense. You will serve as a critical integrator, articulating fielding requirements for new M&S systems and upgrades to current systems.
In this role, you will attend meetings, workshops, and conferences to gather information for Global multi-Combatant Command Exercises. You will make M&S system recommendations to match specific capabilities to wargame and exercise requirements by coordinating or creating associated scenario databases. Your work ensures that NORAD/NORTHCOM data and requirements are integrated into the appropriate systems. You may also focus on building scripts for individual actions during exercises and operating models to ensure entities behave properly throughout the games.
You will work in conjunction with other M&S Integrators to support the preparation of memoranda, technical plans, and reports to develop the synthetic environment for N&NC wargames and exercises. This includes assessing representation in the virtual environment and providing recommendations for improvement and additional realism. As a self-starter, you will independently review strategic documents, incorporate strategic guidance into M&S system recommendations, and communicate these recommendations to stakeholders with a variety of backgrounds.
Note: This posting is contingent on funding, expected in FY27.
