Lap of Love is dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care for companion animals in the comfort of their own homes. Our mission is to support families through the most difficult moments of their pet's life journey, ensuring that every animal passes with dignity, peace, and love.
As a Mobile Veterinarian, you will serve as the primary source of comfort and medical expertise for pets and their families during hospice and palliative care. This role goes beyond clinical practice; it requires a deep commitment to empathy and emotional support. You will travel to families' homes to perform gentle examinations, assess pain and quality of life, and guide owners through end-of-life decisions with clarity and kindness.
In this position, you will administer medications and perform humane euthanasia protocols with the utmost respect. Working independently in the field, you will maintain accurate medical records while collaborating with a supportive, mission-driven team. Your day-to-day involves balancing clinical precision with the soft skills necessary to counsel grieving pet owners, ensuring that every visit upholds our standards of compassion and dignity.
Interested candidates should submit their application with a cover letter highlighting their experience in hospice, palliative care, or pain management. The selection process includes a review of credentials, followed by an interview to discuss clinical experience and alignment with our mission. Final candidates will undergo a background check and verification of licensure and insurance eligibility.
