About the Role
Lap of Love seeks a compassionate Mobile Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services for dogs and cats. This role is dedicated to guiding families through end-of-life decisions with empathy and clinical excellence. You will conduct quality-of-life assessments, manage pain and chronic disease, and ensure dignified, peaceful farewells for pets and their families.
As a field-based professional, you will travel to client homes to perform thorough physical exams, administer medications and sedation protocols safely, and educate families on prognosis and hospice plans. The position requires strong communication skills, emotional resilience, and independent judgment to navigate the unique challenges of in-home practice. You will join a collaborative team committed to providing meaningful support during difficult times, ensuring safe handling and aftercare coordination for every animal.
