About the Role

This position serves as a critical technical partner to operations management, bridging the gap between field data and strategic mine planning. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of surveying, drilling, blasting, exploration, and reserve evaluation to support permitting and long-term mine design.

In this role, you will leverage drone technology and traditional surveying methods to map boundaries, limits, and topography. Your work will directly influence phased short, medium, and long-term mine plans, ensuring that operations remain safe, sustainable, and cost-effective. You will also utilize specialized mine planning software to manage overburden stripping, reserve estimation, and regulatory documentation, including Security and Exchange Commission filings.

Beyond technical execution, you will serve on subcommittees with other CRH companies to improve industry standards. You are expected to mentor less experienced team members, share knowledge to drive departmental success, and present data-driven plans to a wide array of audiences, from peers to upper management.
