We are seeking a Visual Art teacher for grades 5-8 to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time, in-person lead teaching position based in Nashville, Tennessee.
In this role, you will be part of a community that values the dedication and experience teachers bring to the classroom. You will plan and lead daily lessons and materials aligned with Valor's curriculum and Tennessee State Standards. Beyond the classroom, you will serve as a "Pride Leader," facilitating weekly student Circles and providing coaching to support scholars' social-emotional development. You will also uphold our school's values and culture systems, engaging in daily duties such as arrival, recess, or dismissal supervision.
You will work within a supportive framework that includes weekly 1:1 coaching, intellectual preparation meetings, and ongoing professional development. This role is designed for educators who believe all students can succeed and who are eager to cultivate meaningful relationships with students, families, and staff to support a positive learning environment.
