About the Role
We are seeking a talented and dedicated French teacher for a 0.6 FTE position. This role is designed for an educator passionate about creating a student-centered environment that supports the intellectual, social, and emotional development of middle school students. The ideal candidate will bring a detailed understanding of effective pedagogical methods, specifically aligned with the ACTFL and MA World Language Frameworks.
In this position, you will focus on proficiency-based language acquisition, emphasizing the four communication domains: interpretive, interpersonal, presentational, and intercultural communication. You will be expected to utilize a flexible repertoire of performance-based assessments and demonstrate strong social and emotional teaching practices. A key part of your daily practice will involve developing, selecting, and modifying instructional plans and materials to ensure they meet the diverse needs of all students.
