Company Overview
ACO-US is seeking a dedicated Merchandiser for its Travel Retail Service division. This role involves representing Acosta, our clients, and our customers by collaborating effectively within teams to execute reset and remodel projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is a quick learner, possesses strong attention to detail, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
Merchandising and Reset Execution
- Read and interpret planograms to effectively complete reset and remodel tasks, utilizing a working knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology.
- Perform physical duties including moving and cleaning shelves, installing new racks and shelving units, and properly displaying merchandise.
- Attach shelf strips and price tags accurately.
- Check date codes and verify planogram integrity.
- Process pack-outs, restocks, and reorders as needed.
Collaboration and Documentation
- Partner with store personnel and co-workers to maintain merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and build effective working relationships.
- Accurately prepare, process, submit, and manage all documentation related to assigned reset and remodel work.
Safety and Compliance
- Perform all job duties safely by maintaining full awareness of surroundings.
- Utilize proper safety techniques and equipment when necessary.
- Proactively alert management to any unsafe acts or conditions to prevent injuries.
- Understand and adhere to all Acosta policies and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience reading and using planograms.
- Retail and reset responsibility experience is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to stay organized and manage tasks.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with business partners.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using smartphones, computers, copiers/faxes, and handheld devices.
- Web-Based Applications: Effective ability to use web-based tools to indicate work availability, check and accept assignments, receive documentation, record start/completion times, track mileage and expenses, manage time and attendance, and complete training activities.

- Age Requirement: Due to travel program requirements, employees must be at least 21 years of age to obtain necessary credentials.
- Travel: Travel is required, with overnight stays comprising 75-100% of the time. Occasional weekend work is also required.
