About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support its daily warehouse club operations by hiring Merchandise and Stocking Associates. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, safe, and member-friendly shopping environment. Associates play a key part in the logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that products are available, properly displayed, and ready for members.

Day in the Life

As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, your day involves a mix of physical activity and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries and moving merchandise, including using pallet jacks or forklifts to handle pallets. A significant portion of the role involves stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure the sales floor is fully stocked. You will also organize backroom inventory, label merchandise, and set up promotional displays to drive sales.

Beyond the physical stocking duties, this role involves direct interaction with members. You may assist members in locating merchandise, helping them find what they need efficiently. Maintaining store cleanliness and organization is also a core responsibility, ensuring that the warehouse remains a pleasant and safe environment for both employees and shoppers.

Shifts and Schedule

This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities. Overnight shifts are available, which typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for the store and preparing it for the next day's opening. These overnight shifts may offer differential pay or bonuses depending on the location. The role may also involve overtime or holiday work, providing opportunities for additional earnings.
