About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support its daily warehouse club operations by hiring Merchandise and Stocking Associates. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment for members. Associates play a key part in the logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that products are available, properly displayed, and ready for purchase.

Day in the Life

As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, your day involves a mix of physical activity and customer support. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries and moving merchandise, including using pallet jacks or forklifts to transport pallets. A significant portion of the role focuses on the sales floor and backroom, where you will stock shelves and bulk displays, rotate inventory to ensure freshness, and organize backroom storage. You will also ensure all products are properly labeled and displayed according to standards.

Beyond stocking, you may assist members with locating merchandise, helping them find what they need efficiently. Maintaining store cleanliness and organization is a core part of the job, as is adhering to safety standards. Overnight shifts typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for opening.
