Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Role Overview

Sam’s Club is looking for dedicated Merchandise and Stocking Associates to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting daily warehouse club operations by ensuring that our sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and ready for our members. You will be responsible for the physical handling of merchandise, from unloading delivery trucks to organizing backroom inventory and maintaining high standards of store cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will include a variety of tasks designed to keep the store running smoothly:

• Unloading and Moving Freight: Unload delivery trucks and transport merchandise using pallet jacks or forklifts.

• Stocking and Display: Move merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor, stock shelves and bulk displays, and set up promotional displays.

• Inventory Management: Rotate inventory to ensure freshness and quality, organize backroom storage, and ensure all products are properly labeled and displayed.

• Member Support: Assist members in locating merchandise and answer questions to enhance the shopping experience.

• Store Maintenance: Maintain overall store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards.

Schedule and Shifts

This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities. Overnight shifts are available and typically focus on stocking the store and preparing it for the next day's opening. Depending on your location and assigned shift, you may be eligible for additional compensation.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay

The typical pay range for this position is $15 to $20 per hour. However, the raw title indicates a range of $16 to $21 per hour. Final compensation may vary based on location and shift. Additional pay opportunities include:

• Overnight shift differential pay

• Overtime pay
