About the Role
Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support daily warehouse club operations. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment for our members. Associates play a key part in the logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that products are available, properly displayed, and ready for purchase.
Day in the Life
As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, your day typically involves a mix of physical activity and member interaction. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries and moving merchandise onto the sales floor using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. A significant portion of your time will be spent stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure freshness, and organizing backroom storage areas.
Beyond stocking, you will help maintain store cleanliness and safety standards. You may also assist members with locating merchandise, providing a welcoming experience for our club members. Overnight shifts focus heavily on stocking and preparing the store for opening the next day.
