Merchandise and Stocking Associate

About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support daily warehouse club operations. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment for our members. Associates play a key part in the logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that merchandise is available, properly displayed, and ready for purchase.

Day in the Life

As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, you will be the backbone of our store's inventory management. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks and moving pallets using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. You will be responsible for moving merchandise onto the sales floor, stocking shelves and bulk displays, and rotating inventory to ensure freshness and accuracy.

Beyond stocking, you will organize backroom inventory, label merchandise, and set up promotional displays. You may also assist members with locating products and help maintain overall store cleanliness and safety standards. Overnight shifts focus heavily on stocking and preparing the store for the next day's opening.
