About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support its daily warehouse club operations by hiring Merchandise and Stocking Associates. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and organization of the warehouse environment, ensuring that members have access to well-stocked and properly displayed merchandise.

Day in the Life

As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, you will play a hands-on role in the back-of-house and sales floor operations. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks and moving pallets using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. You will be responsible for stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure products are available for members. A key part of your responsibility is organizing backroom inventory and ensuring all products are properly labeled and displayed according to store standards.

In addition to stocking duties, you may assist members by helping them locate merchandise on the sales floor. You will also help maintain store cleanliness and organization, safety standards, and set up promotional displays. Overnight shifts, which typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for opening, allow you to prepare the store for the next day's operations in a quieter environment.
