About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support daily warehouse club operations. This role is essential for maintaining a well-stocked, organized, and safe shopping environment for members. Associates play a key part in the logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that merchandise is available, properly displayed, and ready for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, your day typically involves a mix of physical activity and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks and moving merchandise onto the sales floor using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. A significant portion of the role focuses on stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure freshness, and organizing backroom storage areas.

Beyond stocking, you may assist members by helping them locate merchandise, contributing to a positive customer experience. Maintaining store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards is also a core responsibility. Overnight shifts, which typically focus on preparing the store for opening, offer a different pace of work centered on restocking and setup.
