Merchandise and Stocking Associate

About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and supporting daily warehouse club operations. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our warehouse club environment. Associates are responsible for ensuring that products are properly labeled and displayed for members and that the sales floor is well-stocked and ready for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, you will be active throughout the day, starting with unloading deliveries and moving merchandise onto the sales floor. You will use equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts to move pallets and stock shelves and bulk displays. A key part of your role involves rotating inventory to ensure freshness and organizing backroom inventory to keep the storage areas efficient and safe.

In addition to stocking duties, you may assist members with locating merchandise, helping them find what they need quickly and easily. You will also help maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring that the environment is welcoming and safe for both members and team members. Overnight shifts typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for opening, ensuring the club is ready for the next day's business.
