About the Role
Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support daily warehouse club operations. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment for our members. Associates play a key part in the logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that merchandise is available, properly displayed, and ready for purchase.
Day in the Life
As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, your day involves a variety of physical and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks and moving merchandise onto the sales floor using pallet jacks or forklifts. A significant portion of the role focuses on stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure freshness, and organizing backroom inventory.
Beyond stocking, you will help maintain store cleanliness and organization standards. You may also assist members by locating merchandise and setting up promotional displays. Overnight shifts typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for opening, ensuring the club is ready for the next day's business.
