About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support its daily warehouse club operations by hiring Merchandise and Stocking Associates. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and organization of the store, ensuring that members have access to well-stocked shelves and a clean shopping environment. Associates play a key part in the logistical backbone of the club, from receiving deliveries to preparing the sales floor for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of physical and organizational tasks. Your day may involve unloading trucks, moving pallets using equipment, and organizing backroom inventory. You will move merchandise onto the sales floor, stock shelves and bulk displays, ensuring products are properly labeled and displayed. A significant portion of the role involves rotating inventory and setting up promotional displays to drive sales. You will also assist members with locating merchandise and help maintain store cleanliness and organization. Overnight shifts typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for opening.
