About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support daily warehouse club operations. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, safe, and well-stocked environment for members. Associates play a key part in the logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that merchandise is available, properly displayed, and ready for purchase.

Day in the Life

As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, you will be responsible for the physical flow of goods within the club. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks and moving pallets using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. You will move merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor, stocking shelves and bulk displays with care.

Attention to detail is critical; you will rotate inventory to ensure freshness and product integrity, organize backroom storage, and ensure all products are properly labeled and displayed. Additionally, you may assist members with locating merchandise and help maintain overall store cleanliness and organization standards.

Overnight shifts focus heavily on stocking and preparing the store for opening the next day, providing a unique opportunity to work in a quieter environment while ensuring the club is ready for morning traffic.
