About the Role
Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support daily warehouse club operations. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment for our members. Associates play a key part in the logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that merchandise is available, properly displayed, and ready for purchase.
Day in the Life
As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, you will be responsible for the physical movement and organization of inventory. Your day may involve unloading delivery trucks, moving pallets using pallet jacks or forklifts, and transporting merchandise to the sales floor. You will stock shelves and bulk displays, rotate inventory to ensure freshness, and organize backroom storage areas. Additionally, you will ensure products are properly labeled and displayed according to standards, and may assist members in locating merchandise. Overnight shifts typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for opening.
