Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support daily warehouse club operations. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment that enhances the member experience.

Associates play a key part in the behind-the-scenes logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that merchandise is available and properly displayed for customers. The position involves a mix of physical labor and customer interaction, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Day-to-day, associates unload deliveries and move merchandise onto the sales floor using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. A significant portion of the role focuses on stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure freshness, and organizing backroom storage. Associates are also responsible for labeling merchandise and setting up promotional displays to drive sales.

Beyond stocking duties, associates serve as a resource for members by assisting them in locating merchandise. Maintaining store cleanliness and organization is a shared responsibility, with a focus on upholding safety standards throughout the warehouse.

Overnight shifts are available and typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for opening the following day. These shifts may offer differential pay and bonuses depending on the location.
